About Us
Life’s too short to live quietly.
Live Loud started in New Zealand after five years of music, gigs, festivals, car shows, road trips and a family band called Rumpus Machine.
Live Loud was created by Kevin — dad of the four siblings who make up Rumpus Machine, and the person who’s been behind the scenes with the band since the very beginning.
What started with four kids learning to play music grew into hundreds of gigs, millions of views and a worldwide following. Along the way, Rumpus Machine has taken the family to pubs, festivals, beaches, classic car events, bike gatherings and all sorts of places filled with people out there enjoying life.
And somewhere amongst all of that, an idea started forming.
People had been asking for Rumpus Machine shirts and merch, particularly those following the band from other parts of New Zealand and around the world. Making that available was the starting point.
But the idea became bigger than band merch.
Because the people we kept meeting had something in common.
They loved music. Dancing. Cars. Motorbikes. Beaches. Road trips. Travel. Parties. Adventure. Having a laugh. Trying something new. Turning up the songs they love, getting out there and making the most of whatever comes next.
That became Live Loud.
It’s clothing inspired by the people, places and experiences we’ve encountered along the way — and by a simple attitude to life: don’t sit on the sidelines.
Take the long way home. Go to the gig. Drive the car. Ride the bike. Book the trip. Have the laugh. Make the memory.
Life’s too short for someday.
Life is happening now.
Live it. Love it. Live Loud.
